If the oppressors - particularly those committing massacres & genocides in Palestine, Lebanon and across the globe or the individuals who are complicit in the aforementioned actions - think they are the victors, winners and achievers of success, then they have deceived themselves.
They may enjoy temporary, worldly attainment of deception in this life but once they die, it all ends.
Moreover, if they don't repent, this would result in them facing an extremely painful punishment in the Hereafter. They may also face severe consequences in this life very soon.
In comparison, the innocent believers who are oppressed, who struggled to do their part but ended up being killed by the oppressors, becoming martyrs thereby, are the true victors, winners and achievers of success.
They endured a temporary suffering for an everlasting, indescribable, inconceivable reward in Paradise which includes honour, comfort, serenity, bliss, joy, enjoyment and pleasure.
Furthermore, we may see those criminals/oppressors laughing, mocking, despising and belittling the innocent, oppressed people who exhibit the traits of believers in this life.
The aforementioned criminals may create and share TikTok videos reflecting this, thinking it's a game, it's a bit of fun and expressing joy at massacring the innocents.
Well here's a question for those criminals who don't repent:
"who will have the final laugh?"
Allāh (God) says:
"Verily! (During the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.
And whenever they passed by them, used to wink one to another (in mockery);
And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting;
And when they saw them, they said: "Verily! These have indeed gone astray!"
But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers).
But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers.
On (high) thrones, looking (at all things).
Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do?" [1]
