Allāh (God) says:
'Destroyed (cursed) were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King)
Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel,
And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them).
They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allāh, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise!
Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allāh is Witness over everything.
Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire.' [1]
The people of the ditch - transgressors - were cursed and destroyed for what they did. We find in current times, a similar context to the story mentioned in the aforementioned verses, of zionist soldiers contributing towards the extermination of innocent Palestinians. We have come to learn of those amongst them who had manifested signs of being cursed. In what way?
Well, they have already tasted consequences in the form of significant sufferings - from PTSD, mental health crisis to killing themselves, according to reports, including what was reported to CNN and what was revealed by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. [2] [3] If the zionist soldiers who are alive don't repent, then they are heading towards a terrifying abode in the Ākhira. Justice must be served!
We have learnt from history how Allāh punishes transgressors/criminals in the dunyā before they face the greater punishment in the Ākhira, based on His Perfect Justice, Wisdom and Judgement.
So have trust in Allāh's plan and continue to be proactively patient, i.e continue to do your part, taking effective measures to help end what is happening. In Shā Allāh the light at the end of the tunnel is near.
